Yes, the use of ethical behaviour will pay off in the long run in business. Each human being needs a vacation, a calling. Ethics in leadership means having a passion for meanings.quality, safety, human relationship are the key points to pay off in the long run of the business leadership by the leaders. To be ethical is to understand that a life not devoted to superordinate goals is of little value.it is to understand our need to make a commitment to people, organizations, meaning ideals that survive us.It is to have feeling, as well as obligations to establish a moral world order.every person needs something to which he or she can make a commitment. That is the part of meaning. A life not devoted to a cause that extends beyond its own narrow limits will end in depression.Ethics in leadership means mentoring.rather than developing people for the sake of jobs.Mentoring means that a leader is a teacher.a leader obligation is to develop the people for whom he or she is responsible to help them become the more marketable, more qualified professionals, to further their careers, to help them feel better about themselves, to equip them to confront the toughest vicissitudes of life.Even though ethical problems in organizations continue to greatly concern society, organizations and individuals, the potential impact that organizational culture can have on ethical behavior has not really been explored.

. The ethical climate of an organization is the shared set of understandings about what is correct behavior and how ethical issues will be handled. This climate sets the tone for decision making at all levels and in all circumstances.

Organisation culture and ethical behaviour

Organization culture and ethical behaviour should make and give opportunities to employers to better and think positive. What top managers do, and the culture they establish and reinforce, makes a big difference in the way lower-level employees act and in the way the organization as a whole acts when ethical dilemmas are faced.

While ethics in the long run, may be good business, to be ethical is to be motivated in a unique way not by pleasure, fear, inclination, habits, approval, social pressure, or what is prudent the source of your action is instead the rational fact that it is right.you do what you do because it is right. Organizations should also provide more ethics training to strengthen their employees’ personal ethical framework. That is, organizations must devote more resources to ethics training programs to help its members clarify their ethical frameworks and practice self-discipline when making ethical decisions in difficult circumstance.

Ethics or wisdom, seen as a dominant leadership strategy,is the commitment to be of service.in Agra, India, near the Taj Mahal, there is a hotel where guests find posted the following quotation from the greatest servant to humanity of the twentieth century,

Gandhiji said,

A customer is the most important

Visitor on our premises.

He is not depent on us,

We are depent in him.

He is not an interruption of our work,

He is the purpose of it. He is a part of it. We are not doing him afavour by

Serving him,

He is doing us a favour by giving us

An opportunity to do so.

The issue here,of course.concern both ethics and business.safety is a moral issue. No human being has the right to promise safety to another and deliver danger.workers and managers have no right to be ignorant of the larger implications of their work.such ignorance is proof of lack of leadership in all ranks from low level to top level.

Think you are a person of integrity and that you bring your highest standards of ethics to your workplace everyday. . Despite hundreds of pages of policies, plan, codes of conduct, organizational values, and carefully defined work environments, or company cultures, lapses in workplace ethics occur every day.and also ethics occur each and every place where work is going . A conflict of interest arises in the workplace and organisation when an employer has competing interests or loyalties that either are, or potentially can be, at odds with each other. A conflict of interest causes an employer to experience a struggle between diverging interests, points of view.

The non profit organization like nonpartisan, educational organization was founded to establish ethical business industry standards and to develop strategies for integrating them worldwide.

Leaders know what they their value. They also recognize the advantages of ethical behavior. The best leaders know their values and ethics in their leadership plans and actions. our leadership ethics and values may be visible because we live them in our actions every single day. Workplace ethics take the same way. If the company leadership has a code of conduct and ethical expectations, they become an organization joke if the leaders fail to live up to their published code. Leaders that exhibit ethical behavior strongly influence the actions of others.

The following are examples of values. You might use these as the point for discussing values within your organization:

confidence, competency, liability, equality, integrity, service, responsibility, accuracy, respect, dedication, diversity, improvement, enjoyment/fun, loyalty, credibility, honesty, innovativeness, teamwork, excellence, accountability, empowerment, quality, efficiency, dignity, , empathy, accomplishment, courage, wisdom, independence, security, challenge, influence, learning, compassion, friendliness, discipline/order, generosity, persistency, optimism, courageous, endurance.

As a leader, choose the values and the ethics that are most important for organisation, the values and ethics you believe in and that define your character. Then live them visibly every day at work. Living your values is one of the most important tools available to you to help you lead others. That is reason any organization do not waste time and values.

In conclusion, good oganisation require all values that enhance the qualities and quantity of the product and services of organization and try to motivate the employees at regular interval for better result.

Corporate social responsibility in workplace

CSR mainly focused businesses would promote the members in an organization by encouraging growth and development, and eliminating practices that harm the organization. Essentially, CSR is the deliberate inclusion of employer interest into corporate decision-making.

Corporate Social Responsibility has been redefined throughout number of years. However, it essentially to aid an organization’s mission as well as a guide to what the company stands for and will uphold to its consumers. Business ethics can be both a normative and a descriptive discipline. The range and quantity of business ethical issues reflects the degree to which business is perceived to be at odds with non-economic social values. So it essential for businesss to use CSR in order to make healthy environment in an organisation.

The examples of having the good ethical decision as I have got some experience from the queen hotel in INDIA . The service they are providing to the customer is quite qualitative with satisfactory good and services. They have the right decision for all the staff members which comes from the ethical decision at work with the certain values and norms which is beneficial for the whole business and the customer. The extension of that organisation is increasing around the places which means the ethical views and their ethical decision when they decide and they really implemented the original ethic when they work by the members or employees. . They have the policy that the hours of the opening is 24 hours which also one of the good ethical decision which helps lots of customers to come and eat without any problem.

Values is another important things in any organization for maintaining internal environment.Values tend to influence attitudes and behavior For example, if you value equal rights for all and you go to work for an organization that treats its senior staff much better than it does its employees, you may form the attitude that the company is an unfair place to work; consequently, you may not produce well or may perhaps leave the company.

Ethical leaders understand their place within the larger network of lower and upper level. It is not about the leader as an individual, it is about something bigger—the goals and future expect of the organization. Ethical leaders also recognize that value is in the success of people in the organization.

Employees have the pride of their company with the quite fairness behavior behind the defined requirement of the job is the result of the ethic at work in the work place. The standard of the life management, trust, and the financially strongest are the dependent of the company’s success by using the decision with ethical norms and values.

atmosphere can be stated by the all members. Higher climate is the higher financial statuses which can be described by the best companies satisfy their social and financial status. So there is the big impact in the society that ethical leader can make. The leader is the engineer of the company or the driver of the whole company.

Of course, a company doesn’t have to be dedicated to responsibility to seek to improve workplace safety, be transparent or build a good brand. But these figures present a negative point: a company that pays no attention to values and right is not necessarily going to have lower costs and be more profitable than one that does. In other words, while the small benefits of responsible may be hard to quantify, the reverse is also true: the impact of responsibility does not guarantee higher profits for a company, all other being equal.

“Companies that pollute often have tremendous inefficiencies in production. For example, coalfiredplants with a dirty burn aren’t efficient. Companies that lack responsibility may gain some short advantages over those that have it, butover time it is not clear that they remain competitive in this way we can say that a small things can cause great lose to organization.

In conclusion, decision making play a vital role right minded people want leader to judge and identify the upcoming problem and take full obsolute responsibility for decision.ethical decision will vary according to situation and organization also change its ways and methods of rules and regulation to give equal right to members so that workers do work confidentially.

Answer 2

Ethics is not just talking about the right thing. It is doing what is right in every decision that is made. Based on above observation I am going to give essay report. In my opinion, business ethics require integrity which leads to trust. An open life is a simple life;you never need to remember the lies you have told or bother to hide.it is also necessary to share values of those you work with.

Finally integrity means a valuing and preserving liberty.nobility of character, part of greatness in general, is also an ethical theme.Even in business people need to be heard;they need to be understood. We all hunger for emotional safety;for example, we appreciate the values of a support group. Some leaders fear that asking for support may tarnish their executive self image.seek out friends and allies. Recognize that there are people who want to support you and can do it well.all members of an organization must understand the largest context, the implications and consequences of what they do when individuals within an organization are not motivated by a sense of personal ethical responsibility for the whole, there will be consequences.

Ethic means teamwork that is why there must be meaning in the work you create for others.transerring power is also transferring gesponsibility and accountability, a point often overlooked.accountability without power is as empty as power without accountability.when a subordinate is as held accountable but does not have the authority to implement decesions, that is as ridiculous as a corporate officer having power but not feeling personally responsible for the success of the organization.these are some of the systemic and psychodynamic problems that characteristically arise when the question of teamwork is posed.

Ambiguity is a pervasive concern in leadership as in business ethics. Part of that ambiguity arises from your commitment to customer focus.if you are a sales person, the question becomes whether your customer is your sales manager or your end customer.Every one need right decision from boss but if topper level do not take seriously then employers and employees do not cooperate the work they assign and there is hustle and bustle in workplace. Being ethical is being fair. Being fair means understanding implications from other people’s perspectives – not your own. The more clearly and well you appreciate other people’s issues and implications, then the easier you will find it to be ethical. For example, many entrepreneurial personalities are actually more likely to prefer and utilise logical ideas and power of thinking , and relatively dispassionate decision-making and I thing it good way of good organization.
